The lessons he learned and how they learned them should be inspiring to all, but especially to those people who know amputees or are amputees themselves, either by choice or by fate. The book also contains many case studies of others who lost one or more hands. It's written in a wonderful (and easy to read) down-to-earth style and comes highly recommended.
