Warfare by definition conflicts between spirits against people or groups of people. Christians regularly engage in some kind of spiritual conflict. Battles in warfare are fought on various fronts, for various causes, and to differing degrees of severity. Spiritual combat follows a similar pattern. Despite the fact that we cannot physically see the adversary, our spiritual battles and combat are real.
