Discuss the motivation for 4G,2. Outline the architecture and protocol stacks of LTE and SAE,3. List the LTE performance metrics over the radio interface,4. Explain how OFDMA and SC-FDMA techniques are applied in LTE,5. Describe the frame formats for LTE FDD mode,6. Trace the mapping of logical, transport and physical channels,7. Examine how MIMO improves system capacity,8. List the EPS mobility states,9. Describe the QoS mechanisms for an EPS bearer,10. Describe the signaling procedures for cell acquisition, registration, tracking, area update, packet scheduling and handover.
