Following love across the country, Louisa finds herself in a new city, with a new job and no friends. Her fresh start begins with a rude awakening after leaving the safety of a small town and moving to the big city. Corruption and greed lurk around every corner, but so does love, friendship, and kindness. While navigating the new phases of her relationship with Mac, including meeting his friends and family, she is also exposed to kidnapping and even a murder.
