The rest of the world copes poorly with the after-effects of a devastating world war that accelerated climate changes and caused mass migrations of people. Biobuilding offers the super-rich a way to isolate themselves, live sustainably, and get even richer in the process. Sustained by technology, functioning like a living organism, housing the elite of the world, Biobuilding thrives by maintaining its own closed ecosystem to feed, clothe and house its citizens. The only problem Biobuilding's residents cannot solve is an old-fashioned one: murder.
