Frances Wall finds herself in her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas, on 9/11 when she realizes that her life has veered in a direction that has left most of what she knew and loved behind. Until that day of the terrorists attacks in New York, when the nation and the world is changed forever, and the war she waged internally is realized and called out - Jeff returns home paralyzed and not to her, but home - she learns in her own way to walk and to live outside the trauma that defined her life.
