More than 200 photographs from selected sources take Burlington from 1860 to 1960, and give the reader a glimpse of the people, places, and events that created the city we know today. They include the changing face of the waterfront, the metamorphosis of streets and parks, downtown growth, a variety of prominent residents, and visitors from presidents to national heroes.
