This work is about research in human-computer interaction field. Using state of art methods and proposing new, the target is to develop an interfacing system that would grant to the user the possibility to interact with the computer by performing gestures with his hands without touching any device or wearing any kind of marker.Gestures are intended both as hands configuration or trajectories.The recognition of gestures is performed out by the software, analysing a video stream captured with a standard webcam and matching data with previously acquired models.
