Glacial Remains discusses the evidence that the northern reaches of the United States were covered by glacial ice that melted 8,000-10,000 years ago. It easily provides teachers with content about a portion of geological history that is not well represented in national textbooks. Since Glacial Remains is discussing that evidence in a story form, students will read and remember the information more easily than they would from a textbook.
