Three short stories, Mi Esperanza is about a young man who is having problems after and encounter with a strange group of people. He does not know it but he is suffering from drugs being put in what he drinks and eats. It all started in a small town where he saw the girl of his dreams and was slow to act. He is put on administrative leave and with the help of the young lady, his priest and an investigator from an agency he has never heard of discovers what is happening to him. Falls in love but is still unaware of what is taking place. Bwana is about two friends that go hiking in the mountains and discover a conspiracy, escape by taking a helicopter and ending up in the Rain Forests of Brazil. They are chased to Brazil where they manage to escape again and with the aide of natives train for a return to fight their enemy who is hunting them down. Citrus Cove Tule Fog Mysteries, is about a strange little town covered in fog most of the year where strange things happen. Sheriff Ramirez patrols the countryside but is afraid to get off his car, because of the strange creatures that roam the orchards on dark foggy nights and days. That is what Jorge, a foreman at one of the large farms has, has told him. Officer Pablo Sands from a little known government agency has been assigned to help them solve the mystery.
