Retired Baby Boomer and successful Manhattan attorney, Jeffrey Stallman, has failed to find happiness, partly due to his unrequited love for his best friend's wife. Faced with the disappointments of marriage and family, he leaves his Greenwich, Connecticut estate to relocate to a small ranch he's never seen in the high prairie of Kiowa, Colorado, where he hopes to reclaim his agrarian roots and minimize his estrangement from his children and ex-wife.
