The series starts out with Ms. Blackbird getting injured and laying two eggs but only one hatches. Her daughter Joy grows up not knowing how to fly. Her friend Motivae the white dove flies and Joy always tells Motivae that blackbirds don't fly until one day.... Get the book (smile)
