Product Description Author's inexhaustible imagination, it seems, has no limits. At times, she mentions subject matter which rarely occurs to others, as if she has the ability to peep unseen patterns hitherto unnoticed in an old forgotten antique kaleidoscope...In addition, her fascinating stories - whether fiction or nonfiction - always provide just enough necessary details to immerse you in the events, while leaving room for the reader's own imagination, making her stories unique for everyone. An interesting fact is Alevtina's recognition of the process of writing the majority of her stories. They almost ask to jump on paper after seemingly innocuous situations, occurring during very short periods of time in her life, such as a 30 minute lunch break, traveling via public transit, or after an unexpected phone call.Sometimes stories come to her during sleep, then everything "falls from her hands" until she commits the stories to paper. "As if my heroes very persuasively and persistently are trying to make their way into this world, declaring their existence through me... " - says Alevtina.Very amazing is her foresight of future technological progress. For example, Alevtina's story "Three whales", written in 1989, describes technological devices, only some of which have recently emerged in our everyday life, while others are still in stages of development.Alevtina's engaging and visionary Russian stories - fantasies, as she often calls them - will touch the soul, uplift the spirit and let the imagination soar. This book is intended for those whose imagination craves new sensations.Sometimes poignant, sometimes joyful yet always compelling, here is a literary celebration of life and all the moments that give it meaning. Alevtina's brilliant storytelling lets each page come to life and each story becomes a single step in a magnificent journey into a world that is vibrant with life and throbbing with emotion. This is Alevtina's world and she welcomes you to it. From the Author Be grateful to each lived instant and always remember that these instants would be impossible in the world of loneliness... About the Author Born in Saratov, Russia, Alevtina spent her youth in the USSR and the second half of her life in the USA.Her father was military personnel and her mother was the director of a library.
