He was awarded the Ph.D. in systematic theology from Drew and has also done postdoctoral work at Oxford (England) and Tuebingen. He is completing a D.Theol. at Marburg in Germany. Richards' current position is Academic Dean and Professor of Theology at New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina.
