In my second collection of short stories, Locking Arms with Giants, heroes and heroines and their descendants travel across the timeline and through the world of dreams to avert tragedy in the past, present or future. In many of the stories the sleep state provides a portal through which these giants of history reach out to give characters a helping hand in changing history for the better.

Locking Arms also continues to explore many of the questions raised in my first collection of short stories, Taming the Timeline, published in 2020 by Saltwater Media.

As with my first book, this is not, per se, an effort at increasing scientific knowledge or solving specific technological problems. As with many works of fiction and science fiction, it aims to entertain while stimulating discussion.

Additionally, like much of the writings in my first book and republished here, my characters join with those connected with greatness in rewriting historical events across the timeline.

In other instances, the original tales and those presented anew here seek to lead readers through a fantasy world of pure entertainment.

As with Taming the Timeline, this collection directly targets futurism with a positive purpose. In addition, this book continues to raise interesting questions about our interaction with those around us.
