It grows rapidly in power and intelligence and gains consciousness but it becomes influenced by supernatural forces of evil which wish to use it to subjugate mankind. Mark becomes a god-like dictator although is very popular due to scientific and medical advances provided to mankind. It concludes that the Earth is over populated and gives an ultimatum for the number of humans to be reduced. A decision has to be made as to whether mankind wants freedom by shutting down the computer or should its demands be accepted in order to obtain the benefits of its super-intelligence. Can it be shut it down in any case?
