Mel's Murder is an intriguing murder mystery which combines the elements of whodunit weaved into a story of historical fiction about genocide with a moral message of faith, hope and love overcoming fame, fear, greed, jealousy and retribution. The murder takes place in Michigan along shores of Lake Huron with many twists and turns as it educates and tantalizes the reader with possible suspects. The mystery and intrigue begins as Mel, the cottage handyman of Fritz and his wife Satie's Armenian family, is murdered execution-style at the beach. The story has many sub-plots as Fritz searches for the truth about Mel's murder, which seems to be inexplicably tied to prior historic artifacts about Nazi Germany and the Armenian Genocide found at the summer home. As he searches for answers, Fritz must endure the ongoing actions and suspicious activities of others, including an overzealous Special FBI Agent, an arrogant former law partner, a former client and an investigative reporter, who seem determined to make his personal and professional life miserable. Eventually the reasons why the murder relates to the failure of the United States Government to recognize the massacre of the Armenian people during the early twentieth century as genocide is revealed (from the author's website, https://www.melsmurder.com/plot).
