New girlfriends that party with you until the sun rises and study with you until the sun fades.Attending a predominantly white institution, Tamara knew she was going to face a different set of obstacles. She knew she wouldn't be accepted with open arms. She was prepared for the cultural shock that was soon to come. She however, didn't plan on falling in love with tough boy Calvin, or getting pregnant by pretty boy Damean aka Calvin's best friend. She never thought she would end up fighting for justice against her rapist, Richie. All the while trying to keep her sanity when she and friends are attacked by a group of white power extremists.
