She weds Kosmas in hope for a bright future, yet, destiny's cruel hand spins her world, barricading her within the confines of the house, trapping her in the chains of sexual slavery. After escaping her loveless cage, she meets Nikephoros, a silk trader, who hides his passion of music from his family, and in his studio, he creates symphonies that weave delicate harmonies.
