With a promotional tour of the U.K. winding down at a performance in Glasgow, Scotland, Cataluna are ready to relax when they meet James Ewan.

A high school friend of Nansi's, she is excited to see James but the others become wary of him from the beginning. Howard is none to thrilled when James invites Cataluna to enjoy a stay in the Scottish Highlands with family friends of his but Howard's dislike of James is the least of his worries.

Soon, Cataluna's Highland vacation becomes a nightmare when local livestock is being slaughtered and Nansi hears an eerie howling piercing the air. What is roaming the Scottish moors and farmlands that is leaving fear in Nansi's heart?

Is it some violent animal or could an unseen evil be causing a hostile change amongst her friends and turning one of Cataluna's own...into a vicious killer? If it's true...who can Nansi trust before her own life is the one in danger?

Amos Dixon invites Cataluna to join him on a trip to New Orleans for the Mardi Gras festivities and soon his affections for Nansi Richardson, his best friend Howard's wife, are being noticed by her husband.

Tensions between Amos and Howard are only making it that much difficult for Nansi to contemplate when a strange young man intrudes upon their fun.

Laurent Dior is no ordinary man...he is a vampire who holds knowledge of Nansi's deceased mother and soon, pulls Cataluna into the gothic underbelly of the Big Easy.

Passions blaze and suspicions flare all the more when Howard goes missing and Cataluna is left to search for him. Nansi must untangle a web of desires, mystery and her own feelings for Amos to find her husband before it's too late.

With Howard missing, Amos is left to fight his own inner demons but will he let them win if only to get Nansi in his arms? Both of them don't have long to struggle before the evil that is hiding behind a mask of innocence shows it's true face and puts all of them in danger.
