Chapter four describes the implementation of the nonlinear viscous damping characteristic using the MR damper employing semi-active vibration isolation methods. Chapter five investigates and discusses the results obtained. Chapter six concludes and recommends further studies on the topic using more complex nonlinear viscous damping characteristics.
