About the Author Guy lives with his wife in the mountains west of Denver. He is a Vietnam veteran. They share their surroundings with frequent visitors to their home including elk, deer, foxes, raccoons, skunks, chipmunks and many varieties of birds. Guy has been mostly involved in short story and poetry writing. This is his first novel. He has published a book of poetry and has had a love for the written word since his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri. Diane Whigham was raised in Texas with southern ancestry, but now calls Colorado home. An avid rose gardener, she lives with her 16 year old son and their dog, Ninja Bear. Diane is a veteran of 28 years in the teaching profession. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee and her masters from the University of Texas.
