Her new, nonfiction book, Only on Loan: a reminder...not yours for keeps, relates an understanding that people are "on loan" to us for a specific time and, just as with borrowed items, we are responsible to care for them and develop them to be instruments for God. Maggie also describes the grief she endured over her son's passing, but saw he belonged to God all along; God's instrument for a season.
