Ijayla Metcalfe is a 21 year old poet, currently taking online classes to advance her writing career. As OurGlass is her second self-published book it is reciprocated from OverComing & Becoming which is a short poetic book filled with grief, abuse, and self harm. As she begins to enter her twenties she experiences a series of different love, loss, and growth.
