The recognition that amidst breakups, mundane disappointments, surprise diagnoses, and the deaths of 15 loved ones in 12 years you can feel throes of emotion and also be entirely thrilled by the buttery sweetness of a pastry. Consisting of 15 poems and 1 flash-essay, Plenty is a meditation on and a celebration of the moments that terrify, enliven, and satiate - the moments that make us whole and human.
