Life can sometimes seem unfair. The various trials and tribulations that we are made to endure can seem unbearable at times. Never the less, women wake up each and every day to win at this thing called life. The world that we live in may seem unforgiving and heartless to some. But I choose to see life through a different lens. I have made the conscious decision to surround myself with positivity at all times. I have a charge to keep. I must always seek to speak life and positivity to other women. My earnest desire is to uplift, edify and support other Queens as they maneuver through various difficulties. It does not cost one dime to be supportive of another woman. At the end of the day, we are all unique and special. But the difficulties that we face can be quite similar, regardless of race, religion, age or socioeconomic status. From coast to coast we are all striving to be the best that we can be. It is much easier to accomplish this if you have other positive women cheering for you along the way. What does it profit us to destroy another woman's character or speak against her vision? Can blessing and cursing come from the same mouth? I challenge you to help another "Queen" walk the path that leads to resilience. According to Webster's dictionary, resilience is defined as the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness. Or it could also be defined as the ability of a substance or object to spring back into shape; elasticity. "Queens Supporting Queens" is a collection of inspirational stories that were written by 30 amazing women. You will learn about many different trials that they were made to endure. In the end, they were victorious! I believe that their stories will uplift, encourage and inspire you to press through your current circumstances.
