Jake Anderson was on his way to a night class at UNH when his car unexpectedly crashed into an impossible wall of snow beside a pool of lava. He now finds himself in a chaotic world, a blend of vastly different environments. Walking just under a thousand yards in any direction brings him to an entirely new landscape.
When he attempted to help the first person he met, he discovered they were not human. The strange bipedal humanoid aliens aren't the main issue; rather, the world they now find themselves in has turned into a dangerous survival scavenger hunt. Jake must locate other survivors, form a tribe composed of several different species, and all while avoiding the dangerous creatures from countless different worlds.
