In 1983, at the age of sixteen, I entered the wonderful beauty industry, and immediately, I had a vision of owning a salon one day. I knew that owning a salon could not happen overnight, and I needed to have some experience before this dream could be fulfilled. Over the years, I was able to advance to different levels within the business. Many years of persistence led me from shampoo girl to assistant, assistant to stylist, and then from stylist to owner/educator. I want my passion for this business to motivate future hairstylists, or those already in the field, to explore many avenues within the fields of beauty and fashion.
