Sheleg believes that nothing in life is mere coincidence. He obeys the inner voice that tells him to travel to New York City and visit his old college friend, Jose Lombardi, who founded a prestigious real estate company. Sheleg, a profoundly spiritual man, doesn't know the purpose of his visit, but he is aware of every sign that will shed light on his enigmatic journey. His very essence was formed when he was just twenty-one-years-old as he watched in horror as his three friends-Mia, Charley, and Ely-perished in a bombing in Bali, Indonesia. Sheleg has spent the last twenty years searching for peace and delivering its message. As he journeys around New York City, he engages in discussions with those he meets including a security guard, a taxi driver, and a beggar. He shares his goals of instituting change and raising awareness in the world. Because Sheleg knows there are no coincidences, he ponders the meaning of each encounter and wonders when the purpose for his visit will be revealed to him.
