Susan and Tom continue to work the farm, raising beef cattle amidst mud and beauty and juggling budgets. They have raised their four adult sons to be strong-minded, independent young men - but Susan realises that this means some of their life choices will differ from her own. She discovers that being a parent never ends - and being a grandparent involves another steep learning curve, full of joy and niggles and unspoken opinions.
