To make anything you wrote concise, do the "Three Easy Steps."
THE THREE EASY STEPS
1) Look at each word in your draft and ask yourself:
"Do I need that word to make my message work?"
If you don't need it, delete it!
2) If you see a long word you think you can replace with
a short synonym, find it in this Microsoft Word by
right-clicking the word, selecting "Synonyms,"
and choosing the best one.
3) If you see that you wrote the same idea more than
once, delete the other instances.
