The Plea is a thrilling conclusion to Joe Kavinsky's role in capturing and bringing to justice a gang of drug smugglers terrorizing the Upper Midwest with drugs and death. Focusing on how drugs beget terrorism, the story features a pretty young Muslim woman who was the drug lord's companion planning terrorism at a giant shopping mall. She claims she's innocent and being denied a plea bargain promised by federal and local authorities by helping them capture the drug lord.
