The dog life has been a good one—chasing grasshoppers, playing tug-of-war, swimming in the lake—but Rocky also wanted to be a service dog. He wanted to be a police dog and go through the police academy. Molly, too, had her own dreams of being a show dog and competing in the dog show after her stint in beauty school. However, following their dreams meant they would have to leave each other and their childhood homes, and saying goodbye is bittersweet. Rocky’s life as a police dog is a dangerous one, but Molly’s journey to become a show dog did have its bad guys.
