There are several types of the this procedure and only one of which can be traced in weak hadiths. There is detailed discussion on the topic from religious point of view in the last part of the book. Also, there is textual analysis of the characters from the novel Princess Trilogy . They suffer from painful and humiliating procedure that left a sore scar on their bodies and also on their souls. Also, in Indo-Pak subcontinent the procedure is it very secretively is practiced in Bohra community. Therefore, it seemed necessary to pen down a detailed discussion on the impacts of the fatal procedure which is also the violation of human rights.
