Pastor Tony Matthews is depressed. His church has risen up against him, half the membership has left; was he a failure? That thought haunts him as does the image of the hideous face of a demon. He encountered that demon in a dream when he was 11, where he traveled back in time to see a deceased baseball hero play once again. Was it really a dream, was it an outer body experience or did he actually have a brief time travel experience at that young age? Could that be possible? The image of that hideous face has now come screaming back from his past to haunt his present thoughts. Why can't he let go of that image? Why is it demanding so much attention from him and why now? Counseling is the only answer and that's where it all begins! By trying to find the source of his depression, Tony stumbles into a remarkable time travel journey that will take him from his quiet church in New Jersey to the Middle Ages, to the time of Christ and then hurdling into the future to the brink of Armageddon! This time travel adventure isn't the only journey that Tony is experiencing. It isn't until he comes face to face with his childhood demon that Tony starts to realize the import of his journey. As he looks steadfast into the eyes of that hideous face, he finds the will to continue on the path that God has laid out for him. As wild as this path seems, he knows this is the right one. However, the price for this journey is steep. It will cost him dearly. Not only does he have a demon chasing him through time, his family is now threatened with increasing intensity each time he travels. Does he continue or give up the path? A once faithful church deacon, John Ingram, now plots his removal from the church, spreading malicious and false accusations against his character which affects the relationship with his wife. His maladies continue until Tony finds himself in the future with some kind of connection to the start of Armageddon! How could this be; he didn't ask for all this! This is John Ingram's fault! Revenge seems like the only answer. The journey is complete; where did this demon inspired search lead him?
