Troy was a young man with an amount of moral flexibility; the past did not define him, and he was alone in this way. Around him, all he saw were people defined by the past, trapped and clinging to the changing world in hopes of gaining more. When he found love he drew a line, a line that although did not define him, made it clear that one should not walk over oneself, smear the line between reality and dream. In the end, though, he could see that people could change. But he still wanted to kill. He wanted to kill, but not the innocent, or people that had good lives, he wanted to kill the dirty little ones, dirtied by the past. A past that defined them, made them think that they were someone and knew something, all the while walking around with a death wish, yet too afraid to die.
