My name is Paul Obafe. And I am not normal.
My life went into a tailspin a few years ago. It was like a tornado ripped through the land of my life. By the time its fury was expended, there was a solemn quiet and with it was the aftermath of destruction. Ruin.
"So where do I go from here? To the right, where nothing is left? Or to the left where nothing is right." ― Unknown
I was tired and well-worn. Then the rains began. They beat me wet. But they washed me; of the mud that had caked around me. They cleaned my rich clothes that had become poor and tattered.
Then the sun came. My rags were dried. I could see clearly once the storm was over. I could see a city so far away. It was my only hope to survive. Was it real? Or was it just a dream of the night? Or was it a vision of my days? A mirage? But I walked towards it. Through the elements. The hot days. The cold nights. The wild animals. The supporting friends. The jeers of frenemies. The battles of my mind.
Till I made it to the City of New Beginnings. The place of fresh starts. Till I made it to success. Which I found out, is a journey. Not a domicile.
My trust in the Divine remains absolute! He will guide me through this maze. This Maze Called Life!
