Tourism is one of the most rapidly growing sectors in the world. World tourism flows and tourism receipts show a stable increase in recent years. Therefore, as an effective tool, the importance of tourism on economic growth and development increases. The book is designed for postgraduates and research students in tourism studies, as well as researchers and practitioners who wish to apply advanced econometric Modelling and Methodologies to Tourism Demand Panel analysis. It is assumed that the reader has taken an introductory course to Econometrics analysis and has some knowledge of tourism. In order to help the reader understand the various methodologies, extensive tourism demand examples are provided. The book starts with an introduction to the fundamentals of tourism demand analysis (Chapter 1). In Chapter Two a review of the tourism demand literature is conducted. Most empirical papers have argued that household income and travel prices are the main demand determinants. In Chapter Three, determines the factors that influence domestic tourism demand in a country and examines how changes in the economy could influence this demand.
