Kate, a twenty-three-year-old living in Canada, just graduated from university and has no idea what to do with her life. She's bored and craves adventure, but she doesn't know where to find it. Then she receives a letter from overseas and learns that her Aunt Tabitha, a woman she barely knew, has died and left her an estate in northern Spain. The property, Casa del Secrectos, consists of beautiful farmland but is in need of much care. Determined to create a life of her own, Kate sets out for Spain and struggles to restore the estate's fig orchard.
