'Without Favour or Affection' follows the fortunes of Pc Alan Pendle, a ten year veteran Traffic Officer in a large City Police Force in the North of England and that of his nemesis, 'Midnight' Lyburn, pimp, drug dealer and murderer.Lyburn is released from Holdthorpe prison.
