Scientific experiments are characterised by the possibility of being repeated, possibly with changes to parameters. In this sense, the reuse of scientific work requires a mechanism to guarantee its reproduction while avoiding delays or errors [Brock et al. 1997]. Work¿ows are an interesting option for optimising process coordination [Sheth, Georgakopoulos and Hornick 1995]. Work¿ows are currently used in the scientific environment, known as Scienti¿c Work¿ows, and are used in conjunction with reusable processes to share scientific experiments. However, the current solutions on offer are too complex to be applied to simple tasks or work in specific research areas. To address these deficiencies, this project will adapt a freely distributed Work¿ow tool with open source code to coordinate not only Web services, but also software components that follow the DCC (Digital Content Component) model [Santanchè 2006]. The application domain of the system produced will be applicable to the sharing of scientific experiments.
